Measurement for doors and frames

The width measurements are taken from the outside to outside frame.

The height measurements are taken from the floor to the top of the frame.

Measurement for your rough opening

The rough opening is the space where our doors WITH FRAMES fit into.

Notice how the image on the right is 1/2" width and 1/4" taller than the door / frame unit on the left. This will allow our door with frame to fit into your rough opening space with enough room for a little caulking. "This is referred to as an expansion joint."
